Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident Under Load: Up to 1,000 lbs of Rear Suspension Support

Hauling a heavy trailer or load can make the rear sag and throw off your steering and braking. Firestone Coil-Rite air springs fit inside your existing coil springs to add up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity. With 5 psi to 35 psi of adjustable air pressure, you can level your stance, keep steering and braking balanced, and maintain proper headlight aim when the rear end starts to dip under weight.

Smooth Out the Ride and Stop Bottoming Out: Air-Cushioned Stability

Rough roads and heavy weight can make stock suspension hit its limits fast. These polyurethane air springs create an adjustable cushion that absorbs road shock and keeps your axle from bottoming out. When tuned for the load, they help your vehicle stay composed across uneven pavement and bumps so the ride feels stable and controlled instead of harsh or bouncy.

Dial In Each Side for Uneven Loads: Independent Air Valves

When cargo or trailer weight sits heavier on one side, Coil-Rite’s separate inflation valves let you adjust each spring individually. Fine-tune the left and right pressures to even out off-center loads and reduce body roll. Once balanced, you’ll notice steadier handling through corners and less sway when crosswinds or passing trucks hit you on the highway.

Reliable Construction Built for Daily Use: Durable Polyurethane Design

Each spring is made from elastic polyurethane that stands up to years of towing, hauling, and changing weather without leaks or cracks. The kit includes brackets, hardware, air line tubing, and manual inflation valves for a complete installation. Once set up, this system quietly supports your coil suspension day after day while keeping your ride level and smooth no matter how much gear you’re carrying.

Easy enough install. A little bit of a pain working the bag between the coil spring while laying on your back but it it is doable. Would be easier on a lift for sure. I got them in but they seemed twisted so I gave them a little air charge and blead it back off and was able to readjust to a correctly centered position. Looking forward to hooking up the RV to see the difference.

by:

Easy to install. But if putting new coil spring on bag will not fit in between coil on the springs. If install on original coil spring rolling bags up and pushing through spring will work. I I stalled new coil spring. So I just slide bag into coil spring before installing. Done both sides of vehicle in about hour and half. No problems. So far doing great. Raised the SUV back up to the original height. Made it ride and drive better.

by:

Was just what I needed for my Armada. Really helped the ride, but the Armada was not up to pulling my new travel trailer. We upgraded to a Ram 2500.

by:

Super easy install just over an hour. They work great.

by:

Just as described. Took me an hour start to finish. Everything needed is included. Looking forward to using it with the trailer. Great customer service and price match guarantee.

by:

Has worked great on my SUV. Make sure you get the satellite air valve connection, makes it easy to check the air from your bumper.

by:

It arrived on time and was relatively easy to install. It raised my truck a little bit more than one inch and stiffened the suspension up

by:

Quick ship, great help from etrailer staff in selecting product. Install was very easy (about an hour). If installing in cold weather it helps to keep the bags inside until just prior to install to make them easier to compress when inserting into the springs. Ride is much improved with these.

by:

Excellent Product! Installation only took 30 minutes start to finish. Yes that includes jacking up the vehicle and installing the air lines. Very simple and easy. If you use this, get the F3025-1 Union Tee. Will use this product in the future.

by:

We purchased these to reduce the the sag in our 2017 Nissan Armada while towing our travel trailer. We paid someone to install them and it took them about 30 minutes. He mounted the filler nozzles just under the back bumper. The sag was significantly reduced and we didn't feel like the front of the truck was dolphining with every bump or wind gust.

by:

One popped within a week. ETrailer refused to warranty it. Forced me to go thru firestone. That was a 6 week process so i was forced to purchase a second set in the meantime because i had a trip i had to go on with trailer. 6 months later another bag failure. ETrailer customer service unsatisfactory. I advise u Purchase from someone else

by:

Hubby installed these today, so I can't comment on east of installation. We did already go for ride and the suspension has greatly improved! Also hooked up pour travel trailer and the vehicle no longer squats at all, of course we have the weight distribution hitch attached, but I can definitely tell a difference even without the trailer attached.

by:

Works great. I have them hooked to a compressor so I can inflate and deflate as needed. A great addition to the Armadas factory level system when pulling a heavy load.

I have been using them when I pull my trailer. It has done the job and helped with firming up the rear suspension

Works great. Only thing I would do different at this point is to use the tee on the air lines

by:

Perfect fit and really easy when changing springs at the same time.

by:

I installed the Firestone Coil-Rite helper springs on my 2006 Nissan Armada. The install went great, all done in about 30 minutes. My Armada used to sag 3 inches when my travel trailer (5,000 lbs) and 500 lb tongue weight before these were installed. Now with them installed it only sags 1inch and ride so much better.

I did this vs a weight distribution hitch as my Travel Travel wasn't really heavy.

I just drove it with 32 PSI from Atlanta to Orlando and back.. worked great no issues so far.

by:

Didn't work as advertised. 2015 Nissan Armada has a soft suspension; camper drops rear end 1.25" but this only raised back up 0.25". The camper is well below the Armada's tow capacity so overweight can't be the reason this didn't work. Can't feel a difference going down the road.

It sounds like you need to distribute your weight in the trailer or whatever youre pulling. Or you could look into a weight distribution system. It will help with the sag and if you are experiencing any sway. Let me know your weight limit and I will look into a few for you.

by:

Just finished installing air spring and I am extremely satisfied.my vehicle is back to its original height........p.s customer service is outstanding.thank you.

by:

As most have indicated fitting the bags in the springs is the hardest part. one tip I found helpful was once the bag was partially in, force the bottom of the bag with the air tube into the center of the spring then slowly let the air go back into the bag. Once it had some air in it i was able to move it around and get into place. once installed at 20 psi it raised my back end two inched. from 35" to 37" It is now level with the front of the vehicle. my vehicle is a 2015 armada platinum. Yes it has the auto leveling system. But the system wasn't functional. I've used these before in a 2010 armada platinum and it worked out great

by:

Bags came quick and as described. I'm a professional technician so install was pretty easy. It is a little tough getting the bags in the springs but with some patience they go in. Can't wait to hook up my travel trailer and see how well they work.

Hi Tommy,What was the difference in ride handling when you hooked up you TT? Do you think an amateur could install these without special tools? Thanks,Alvin

Alvin, the ride was definitely better with the trailer hooked up after I installed the airbags. I run them at 10 psi normally and 25 with trailer hooked up. With no trailer the rear feels more planted to the road and towing it feels more stable. I still use leveling bars to help with the weight but I definitely recommend these if your going to tow. As for install its not difficult but just a pain to get them squeezed down and pushed through the springs. After that the hoses are simple push ins and just be sure to route them so they can move and away from the exhaust. Tom D.

Overall, i like these bags a bunch!!! lifts beyond my expectations!! I carry a hitch mount 2 dirtbike carrier. My Armada suffers from severe squat and suspension bottom out to start with. with the dirtbike carrier, the truck felt as if the front wheels were lifting off the ground... and the carrier would drag upon entry to most driveways.. I will be trying out for the first time in about 3 days. So far, the ride is awesome!!! a lot better ride and control (which I did not expect). Installation does take some planning... do trial fit everything you can... that includes the air line pathway and the location of your air valve... I thought I had everything done and perfect but when I mounted my air valve into the hitch hardware, I couldn't air the valve up.. the hitch plate was too thick... I moved the valve to my thin (plastic) bumper... now works fine... see the pics... If there is something I would like to add, it would be the " Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Hand-Held Remote - Single Path
Item # AL25870"... this would make a complete solution! But there is one BIG "don't like", the air bag valve does point the line straight down toward the ground... with this install, this is now the lowest part of my suspension... I do have a concern when traveling in areas where clearance would be an issue... other than that, I'm excited (over airbags right)! enjoy the pics!

by:

These air bags are amazing! I have a 20' boat and hitch box I often use. The ride was horrible in my Armada when loaded down, but the air bags made a tremendous difference. The ride is smooth with no more bouncing around or bottoming out and the steering and handling are greatly improved. Installation was simple and took less than an hour for a guy who's not so mechanically inclined. When installing, use zip ties to keep bags compressed and then clip the zip ties once the bags are in the springs.

by:

Installed on the rear coils of a 2008 Nissan Armada after removing factory air shocks and installed a 2" lift. Easy installation and works perfect for my needs. Only suggestion would be to add a "T" to the kit so you can inflate at one point versus two.

Ryan, are these still working well and how much do you haulwith how much tongue weight. Thank you.

by:

I initially ordered the wrong airbags. I called eTrailer and Jeremy H. was very understanding. He got the right ones immediately shipped out and sent me a return label and info while I was on the phone with him. The bags seem good quality comparable to my previous Airlift bags. Instructions were well written and all hardware was accounted for in the shipment.

  • Will the Firestone Coil-Rite Springs Fit the 2024 Nissan Armada Platinum w/ Self Level?
Hey Johnny. The Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F4150 will work on your 2024 Nissan Armada Platinum so long as your self leveling system does not have air bags installed inside the coil springs. If your coil springs aren't open this setup won't work and we'll have to go with a weight distribution system to address the sagging issue. What kind of trailer do you have and does your self leveling system mount inside your rear coil springs?

Hey Gary, I checked with Firestone for you and the only air springs that fit your 2018 Nissan Armada are the following: - Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4150 So those are definitely the ones you want to buy, and the only other thing I recommend considering is a compressor to keep the psi in check, like the Air Command # F2610.

With that being said, the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4150 on your 2021 Nissan Armada are an exception since all Armada years have that auto-level feature. • Recommended Solution to Fix Sag on 2018 Nissan Armada SE Towing Trailer with Weight Distribution
There could be a few things at play here, but since you're already using a weight distribution system I think the first thing I would do is check to verify that my tongue weight is not more than 15% of the GVWR of the trailer; it looks like the 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite 2109s has a GVWR of around 5700-lbs, so you'll want to confirm that it's no more than 850-lbs using a tongue weight scale like the # 5780 (850-lbs is the maximum tongue weight for a 2018 Armada). • What PSI Should My AirBags Be At When I Am Not Pulling A Trailer?
When not towing/pulling anything with your Nissan Armada, the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # F4150 should be inflated to a minimum of 5psi to prevent the bags from deforming without any air in them. When towing, you want to start inflating the bags according to how much your vehicle is sagging at the rear, and stop inflating when the vehicle is at its normal ride height. Remember to never exceed 35psi with this system. I attached a helpful demonstration video for you.

  • Weight Distribution Used With Auto-Level Rear Suspension on 2018 Nissan Armada
The auto-leveling system can make it tricky to set up a weight distribution system, as it can vary the amount of pressure in the system according to the load and suspension movement. If it's possible to shut off the system and then proceed to set up the weight distribution system for towing purposes, that's certainly the way to go.
